Piece by piece, Pastor Schilling kept clicking and strapping equipment to his body.
By the time Pastor Schilling was done, his legs (below the knee), chest and head were covered in umpire protective gear.
Pastor Schilling was fully protected – even from a potential fastball thrown by Mr. Specht, who is Trinity’s new PE teacher and athletic director.
“We need every piece of equipment so we can stand firm against sin and the devil.” Pastor Schilling shared with Trinity students during Wednesday’s chapel service. “God provides all the
equipment we need. He provides the whole armor of God.”
Paul writes in Ephesians 6:11: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
The Lord opens our ears and hearts to hear about our merciful Savior.
For 154 years, Trinity Lutheran Church and School has been steadfast in preaching God’s Word and educating children in a loving community.
It’s our jingle – our brand story.
The sweet sound of the Gospel.
For the past 154 years, Trinity has been providing the protective pieces – the whole armor of God – through worship services, Bible studies (Trinity will have a new cycle of studies starting on Sept. 8), Sunday School (begins on Sept. 8), God’s Workmanship class (begins on Sept. 10), and
ministry teams.
We celebrate the profound gift of eternal life as we embrace the truth of God’s Word – our protection from even the devil’s best pitch.
