Trinity’s Natalie Smith will be competing at the National Lutheran Cross Country Meet on Saturday (Oct. 26) in Mequon, Wis, on the campus of Concordia Wisconsin.
Natalie, an eighth-grader, eclipsed the national 2-mile qualifying time of 14:58 by finishing in a winning time of 14:44 at the Williamsburg meet.
It will be the first time since 2019 that Trinity has had a female runner compete at the national meet.
Natalie will be one of 200 female runners competing in Saturday’s meet, which begins at noon.

UPDATE: Natalie finished in a personal-best time of 14:33 during Saturday’s (Oct. 26) National Lutheran Cross Country Meet, finishing in 79th place out of almost 200 runners. Great job, Natalie. Trinity is proud.
