    Preschool Teacher


    • B.A. Early Childhood Education with Special Education endorsement - St. Ambrose University

    Experience: Mrs. Gravert worked at St. Ambrose Children's Campus throughout schooling at St. Ambrose. Many classroom hours and student worker as a teacher's aide in birth-2 year old rooms, as well as a full-time lead teacher in the 3-5 year old classroom. Lead teacher at Early Head Start and ran own home daycare for nine years before joining Trinity in 2015.


    Family: Mrs. Gravert was born and raised in Moline, with two older brothers. In high school, Mrs. Gravert moved to Princeton, Ill., where she graduated in 2001. Mrs. Gravert attended St. Ambrose University. Mrs. Gravert married Jason in 2007, and they have three daughters.


    Hobbies: Mrs. Gravert enjoys camping. Iowa football and planning her daughter's birthday parties. 


    What is special about Trinity: I like Trinity because it's small and feels like family when you walk through the doors. I love that even my youngest of daughters knows many of the older kids and teachers throughout the school. Makes them feel at home and makes me feel good to be a part of that for other kids/families. Also knowing my children are learning more about God each day and that I, as a teacher get to teach little ones about God and His love for all of them, no matter how small they are.

    Experience: Mrs. Schmitzer has been teaching for 11 years, with 10 of those years being at Trinity.


    Family: Mrs. Schmitzer was born in Colorado Springs. She grew up in Rolla, Missouri. Mrs. Schmitzer is married to Matt, and they have two daughters.


    Hobbies: Mrs. Schmitzer enjoys running, reading, youth sports.


    What is special about Trinity: It is a special blessing to be able to spend my entire work day in an environment that encourages sharing the gospel of Christ.
