Henrick Senne learned early on that Trinity Lutheran School was going to be a good fit.
“I remember when I was in either preschool or kindergarten and asking a couple of my classmates at recess if I was one of the cool kids,” Henrick chuckled. “They said yes.”
Fast forward nine years.
“I turned out all right,” shared Henrick, who was one of 18 eighth-graders honored and recognized during a graduation ceremony on May 30. “My parents definitely made the right pick in sending me to Trinity.”
While the years went by fast, there was one constant for Henrick during his time at Trinity.
“Having a religion class helped me grow my faith and brought me closer to God,” Henrick shared. “It helped me become more comfortable talking about God and have a better understanding of who God is.”
The one Trinity takeaway for Henrick as he heads off to Davenport Assumption High School …
“Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.” Henrick shared. “That’s the only answer. That will stick with me forever.”
As this group of eighth-graders moves on in their educational journey, God is opening doors for potential new families.
“The school is great,” Henrick shared. “The teachers taught us well. I’m glad I got to be a part of this experience.”
