Bible Studies

Bible study—along with the Divine Service—is like breathing the pure air of God’s breath. He makes us alive in Him. Multiple bible studies are available for young and old, at church and in the home. “They received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so,” (Acts 17:11). Bible study is what doing, learning, searching, equipping…for it’s a dark world out there. Broken and hurting people need help. We’re here for Davenport and beyond.

It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me'- (John 6:45)

The book of Revelation: A Testament of hope

Pastor Vokt will be beginning a new study on the book of Revelation.  There is - perhaps - no more misunderstood book of the Bible than the apocalyptic writing of Revelation. Yet its message is clear to all who would devote themselves to its pages. A few of the lessons to be covered include: How to Read and Understand Revelation, Christ's Letters to the Church and the Inaugural Vision, and The New Heaven and Earth. Start anew today to consider together the vision that Jesus gave to John on the island of Patmos for our comfort and hope.

This Bible study meets Sunday mornings at 9:30 am in the school library.

A bible study of Romans
