The front of the blue-colored card-stock card was decorated with two yellow crosses stacked on top of each other.
The message in between the two crosses shared: Jesus died for you.
Inside the card – on one half – there were two hearts with Easter stickers, and a message that read: Jesus loves you.
On the other half, the message read: I hope you have a Happy Easter. I hope that you believe that Jesus is important. Happy Easter.
Jesus died for you. Jesus loves you. Jesus is important.
That was one of the many messages crafted by Sunday School students who made Easter cards for the home-bound this past weekend.
“I just wanted to make sure they knew who Jesus is and what He did for us, especially if they aren’t able to come to church,” shared the fifth-grade student, who created the Easter card.
It’s our calling – to share the Good News.
He said to them: Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15)
The message is being heard.
“When I came to Trinity, I didn’t know about Baptism,” shared Trinity eighth-grader Connor Olson-Krana, who was baptized on April 5. “Hearing my friends and teachers talk about it, is what led me to wanting to be Baptized.”
Jesus died for you. Jesus loves you. Jesus is important.
Share the message — it’s important.
