Trinity’s facility won’t get much of a break this summer.
In addition to the normal summer maintenance, Trinity will be renovating its gym, swapping out the band room with the school library, and preparing for the school’s new hot lunch program, which will begin in the fall.
While busy, it’s worth it.
It’s about moving forward with excellence – providing students with the opportunity to grow academically and spiritually.
It’s about meeting the needs and the safety of Trinity’s growing extra-curriculars.
Behind-the-scenes work is underway, with actual labor beginning as early as Spring Break with the removal of the gym divider wall and tracking. The plan is to use the space where the rarely used gym divider walls are stored with an audio/visual storage room.
Renovations to the gym also will include floor improvements – the gym floor will be sanded down to the original wood and then repainted – with our new branding – and resealed.
New bleachers, a scoreboard, and a sound system also will be installed, as well as cameras for live-streaming capabilities.
In addition to moving library books and materials to the band room, and instruments and music materials to the library, new flooring with be installed in the current library. Seating and shelving also will be purchased for the new library location.
While details are being finalized regarding the school’s hot lunch program, it is highly likely that new appliances will need to be purchased and installed.
