Trinity’s varsity girls basketball team finished second at the end-of-the-year Catholic League Tournament on Dec. 15.
Playing in the Catholic League for the first time, the Tigers, who finished the regular season with an 8-4 record, recorded two straight wins to advance to the Dec. 15 championship game.
The Tigers – both boys and girls varsity and JV – begin Iowa District East league play in January.
