A couple of years ago, with the assistance of Pastor Grewe, Trinity tabbed family ministry as a point of emphasis.
The push – to reinforce the need for families to grow in the faith together – continues.
“Teaching the faith, learning from example, growing in life together are the utmost importance in the home,” Pastor Schilling shared. “Trinity reinforces that through our worship
services, Sunday School, Trinity School, Confirmation, VBS and through many more ministries.”
Trinity School is a hot spot – a fishing pond of believers and unbelievers seeking spiritual nourishment.
This past year, Pastor Schilling was active in the school, connecting with students and teaching eighth-grade religion.
He also has been active with Trinity’s High School Youth and will be going on this summer’s Youth Mission Trip.
“Having Pastor Schilling in the classroom felt like it brought the church and school closer together,” shared Livy Vesey, who graduated from Trinity last month. “I enjoyed hearing all of Pastor’s knowledge – it was great experience.”
As the head of the family should teach them in a simple way to his household (Martin Luther).
“Trinity seeks to give families the encouragement needed in a world that would have us believe the contrary to us being and building up the Body of Christ,” Pastor Schilling shared.
