Back in October, Trinity faced a lot of unknowns.
Worship services were moved to Trinity’s Fellowship Hall on Oct. 14-15 because the start of renovations to the church.
There were concerns.
Would there be enough room to accommodate everyone?
Would there be enough – comfortable – seating?
How could we replicate the chancel area?
What about music and incorporating choirs?
What about fellowship time – and doughnuts?
What about Christmas services?
When will we be able to go back to the church?
On Feb. 17-18, the congregation will be re-entering its new-look sanctuary.
“You don’t see many construction projects that have gone as smooth as this one,” shared Dave Westfall, who was hired by the Aspen Group to be the on-site project manager for Trinity’s renovations. “The flow of contractors, timing and the weather couldn’t have cooperated any better.”
New windows, flooring, pews, exterior and interior paint and roof were included in the renovations.
While we celebrate this step in the process, there’s more to be done – classroom window replacement in the north wing, along with updates to the gym.
We walk by faith.
Let’s go on.
