Care For Others

Pastor Merle Warnsholz, Associate Pastor

Director of Care Ministries

merle.warnsholz@trinitydavenport.org

Our work begins and is empowered by God’s love for us, demonstrated in Christ. Our Savior left His glory in heaven to come and live among us and to save us from our sin through His death and resurrection. Because of God’s love for us, our hearts are filled with his love, and we respond with thanksgiving as we reach out to those who are hurting.

Those who work in Care Ministry will encourage growth, not dependence. People will be helped to help themselves. Our goal for those being helped is first, to achieve sufficient success and growth so they will no longer need us, and second, having been enabled to become enablers of others.

Through our efforts our goal will be to provide a glimpse of our Savior Jesus. Having experienced help, comfort, and a strengthening presence in time of need, by God’s grace a door will open and we will be given an opportunity to share the Gospel story.
